On a number​ line, suppose point E has a coordinate of -3 ​, and EG=7. What are the possible coordinates of point​ G?

If G is to the right of E, add the total length to point E:

G = -3 + 7 = 4

If G is to the left of E subtract the total length from E:

G = -3 -7 = -10

The possible coordinates are -10 or 4
