Explanation:

−3(3+x)+4(x−6)=−4

(−3)(3)+(−3)(x)+(4)(x)+(4)(−6)=−4(Distribute)

−9+−3x+4x+−24=−4

(−3x+4x)+(−9+−24)=−4(Combine Like Terms)

x+−33=−4

x−33=−4

Step 2: Add 33 to both sides.

x−33+33=−4+33

x=29
