If one point on a line is (6,3) and the line's slope is

5/6 find the y-intercept.

In order to find the y intercept you would use the y=Mx+b equation. It would be 3=5/6(6)+b. B=-2. If you have a graph I would plot the (6,3) and go down 5 left 6 until you cross the y-axis. The answer is (0,-2). Wherever the line crosses the y-axis, that point is your answer. Just for future reference :)))
