Answer:

(-5 2) = (x + 3, y - 1) (since point p is translated using the rule (x + 3, y - 1))

Comparing each axis,

-5 = x + 3

2 = y - 1

so for x axis:

x = -5 - 3

x = -8

Also, for y axis:

y = 3.
