Eva is solving the equation 4(x+3/2)=8. She says, “I can subtract 3/2 from each side to get and then divide by 4 to get x=13/8. Dakota says, “I think you made a mistake.” How can Dakota know for sure that Eva’s solution is incorrect?

Please help my mom is gonna be mad at me if i can't get this question right

since (3/2) is in parentheses with the x, you have to isolate it. Divide 4 on both sides and then you can take away the parentheses. Then solve

x = 1/2
