What's the solution to 2x – 2 > 2x + 4?

Consider the inequality first ;


{:\implies \quad \sf 2x-2\> 2x+4}

Subtracting 2x from both sides ;


{:\implies \quad \sf \cancel{2x}-2-\cancel{2x}\> \cancel{2x}+4-\cancel{2x}}


{:\implies \quad \sf -2\> 4}

But , as the given situation isn't possible in mathematics , so the inequality have no solutions . Or
{\bf{x\in \phi}} , where
\bf \phi is the empty set.
