Explanation:

If you rotate the coordinates, (2, -3), 90° clockwise around the point, (1, 4), then it will become Point P' at (-6, 3). There isn't a very efficient way to explain this but since Point P is 7 units south and 1 unit east of (1, 4) we need to keep it the same distances away when we turn it 90°. You can use something like parchment paper, record the point you're turning it around, (1, 4), and the point to be turned, Point P at (2, -3). If you rotate it exactly 90° without ever moving the point on (1, 4), Point P should now be at (-6, 3) if that makes sense.
