1 Jen will have 279 marbles

2 They will have 900 marbles

Explanation:

Because Jen has fewer marbles than Jay so we take the number of Jay's marbles and minus with the number of marbles tan Jay has more than Jen so that we have the number of Jen's and we add it with Jay's number of marbles to have the number of marbles they have
