A math textbook has 900 pages. The teacher had covered 312 pages in the first form and 289 pages in the second form. The teacher needs to cover the entire textbook in the third form. How many pages of the textbook had the teacher covered in the first and second form altogether? And how many more pages left does the teacher need to cover in the third form?

Answer:

312 + 289 = 601 in total of 1st and 2nd form

3rd from page = 900-601 = 299.
