Answer :

  • 8 feet.

Given :

  • The volume of cylinder is 2,813.44 cubic feet.
  • Height of the cylinder is 14 feet.

To Find :

  • The radius.

Solution :

We know,

\bf \longrightarrow \qquad \: \pi {r}^(2) h = \: Volume_((cylinder))

Where,

  • r is the radius of the cylinder.

  • h is the height of the cylinder.

  • Here, we will take the value of π as 3.14 approximately .

Substituting the values in the formula :

\sf \longrightarrow \qquad \: 3.14 * {r}^(2) * 14 = \: 2813.44

\sf \longrightarrow \qquad \: 43.96 * {r}^(2) = \: 2813.44

\sf \longrightarrow \qquad \: {r}^(2) = \: ( 2813.44)/(43.96)

\sf \longrightarrow \qquad \ {r}^(2) = \: 64

\sf \longrightarrow \qquad \: {r} = \: √(64)

\pmb{ \bf{ \longrightarrow \qquad \: {r} = \: 8}}

Therefore,

  • The radius of the cylinder is 8 feet.
