To add on to the other persons response, the Europeans also brought weapons. The weapons soon started being used be Native Americans and traded them later. I believe Native Americans taught Europeans how to farm there, or at least what they could farm such as corn and other crops. I think they also showed Europeans where fertile land was. They definitely affected each other’s lifestyle’s once they landed and later on in trade.

Europeans carried a hidden enemy to the Indians: new diseases. Native peoples of America had no immunity to the diseases that European explorers and colonists brought with them. Diseases such as smallpox, influenza, measles, and even chicken pox proved deadly to American Indians.
