Answer:

1.Every year, the world’s population is expanding by 83 million people. Right now, there are around 7.6 billion people in the world. By 2050, there will be just short of 10 billion. But population trends are wildly uneven - some countries are rapidly expanding, others are shrinking. Each scenario brings its own challenge for governments.

2. 7.6 billion - 7.9 billion people are living on earth

3.The reason why humans have increased in population so rapidly and so successfully is because we’ve sidestepped the two problems of food shortage and being knocked over by disease. That started in the industrial revolution, when there were about a billion of us, and we tapped into using fossil fuels to do large scale agriculture

4. a rural area is an open swath of land that has few homes or other buildings, and not very many people. A rural areas population density is very low. Many people live in a city, or urban area. Their homes and businesses are located very close to one another.

5. An urban area is the region surrounding a city. Most inhabitants of urban areas have nonagricultural jobs. Urban areas are very developed, meaning there is a density of human structures such as houses, commercial buildings, roads, bridges, and railways. Urban area can refer to towns, cities, and suburbs.
