Given that ​f(x)=3x and ​g(x)=x²-4x-6 find (gof)(4) simplify answer

Answer:


(gof)(x) = g(f(x)) \\ = (3x)^(2) - 4(3x) - 6 \\ = 9 {x}^(2) - 12x - 6 \\ \\ (gof)(4) = g(f(4)) \\ = 9( {4}^(2) ) - 12(4) - 6 \\ = 9(16) - 48 - 6 \\ = 144 - 48 - 6 \\ = 90
