Answer:

First equation

from definition of acceleration:

a = (change \: in \: velocity)/(time) \\ \\ a = (v - u)/(t) \\ \\ at = v - u\\ { \boxed{v = u + at}}

Second equation

from displacement:

s = (average \: velocity) * time \\ s = ( (v + u)/(2) ) * t \\ \\ 2s = (v + u)t

but v is u + at :

2s = \{(u + at) + u \} * t \\ \\ 2s = (2u + at)t \\ 2s = 2ut + {at}^(2) \\ s = (2ut)/(2) + \frac{a {t}^(2) }{2} \\ \\ { \boxed{s = ut + (1)/(2) {at}^(2) }}

third equation

from displacement:

s = ( (v + u)/(2) )( (v - u)/(a) ) \\ \\ 2as = (v + u)(v - u) \\ 2as = {v}^(2) - {u }^(2) \\ \\ { \boxed{ {v}^(2) = {u}^(2) + 2as }}

s » displacement

v » final velocity

u » initial velocity

a » acceleration

t » time
