Answer: 5

There are 9 people with 4-5 pets and 4 with 2-3 pets, subtract and your good (9-4=5)

Explanation:

9 friends have 4 or 5 pets

4 friends have 2 or 3 pets

How many more friends have 4 or 5 pets than 2 or 3 pets?

9 - 4 = 5

5 more friends have 4 or 5 pets than 2 or 3 pets.
