We can use the proportion method here
Mass Weight
9 kg 54N
(?) 24 N
Now since it is “directly varied” we can cross multiply to get:
54*x = 24*9
54*x = 216
x= 4
Ans: The mass of an object weighing 24 N is 4 kg
