Use distributive property,

5*2x - 5*3 = -4*x +(-4)*4 -13

10x - 15 = -4x - 16 - 13

10x - 15 = -4x - 29

Add 15 to both sides

10x = -4x -29 + 15

10x = -4x - 14

Add 4x to both sides

10x + 4x = -14

14x = -14

Divide both sides by 14

x = -14/14

x = -1
