Supplementary angles sum to

let one angle be
x

then the other angle is
x+70

summing the 2 angles gives


x+x+7=180


2x+70=180

subtract 70 from both sides


2x=180 -70=110

divide both sides by


2x=(110)/(2) =55

thus the angles are

55∘ and 55 + 70= 125∘
