Answer:

$(f + g)(x) = ( (x)/(2) - 3) + (3 {x}^(2) + x - 6) \\ \\ = 3 {x}^(2) + ((x + 2x)/(2) ) - 9 \\ \\ = 3 {x }^(2) + (3x)/(2) - 9 \\ \\$
