if cells come from pre existing cells what happens to the cell from which it comes? will the cell be of the same size as others or will it be small?

All cells require at least some of the molecular machines that you see in the video above, Engineering is one field where information about how physics and chemistry are used to create machines that use coded information to control their functions, Biology is the other. There are no other known systems that use coded information to do anything at all. And of course our genetic code causes the construction of programmable metabolic pathways that allow cells to adapt to their environment in real time, and epigenetics pathways that allow long term adaption. We don't compare biology to human engineered technology out of laziness but because it's the only known comparable phenomenon.
