Dear Jane,

How are you? It has been a while since we last met and I though I should write you this letter. My progress is good except for being disappointed by my new purchase today. I have bought a T-shirt from an e-commerce store but on opening the item I was not pleased with it. I bought it because it looked flashy and I thought it would look nice on me. However, on fitting the T-shirt, the height and the hands were too short to the extent that it did not fit me well. This made me feel disappointed, as I have wasted a lot of time and resources purchasing and collecting the item. Definitely, I expect the company to compensate me because they have a return policy and accept returned purchases. However, I feel that just refunding money is not enough because of the time and effort I put in accessing and collecting the product. I would expect the company to improve their marketing techniques so that people do not fall for bogus advertisements and end up buying products that don't suit them. Moving on, I do not think I will purchase any clothes from this e-commerce website again. I feel their advertisements are not authentic and only meant to trick the buyer to purchase their substandard products. I would not advise you to buy any clothes online either. In fact, we should go shopping in the supermarket soon. Let me know if you are interested and when you are free. I can't wait to hear from you. Write soon.

Step-by-step explanation:

A friendly letter has 5 main parts:

• The date: This should be written on the top right corner.

• The greeting: This can be in form of dear friend and actual greetings.

• The body: This is where you place the main points of your letter. These can be arranged in indented paragraphs or block format. The format used above is indented and the body is one paragraph but can be split into about 3 paragraphs.

• Closing: This is saying from who the letter came from.

• A signature can be included or just a name.

The key to writing letters is to hook the reader for example starting with the words ‘Dear’ then write who your writing the letter to.Now if it’s a fictional letter talk about what is happening around that time period and you can do the same for non fictional letters.

The key to writing letters is to have a direct point but expand that point and add as much information as possible.

I hope this helps!
