Rewrite the equation below so that it does not have fractions.

Answer:

40-15x=18

Explanation:

Multiply both sides of 2 - 3/4x = 9/10 by twenty to get

20*2 - 20*3/4*x = 20*9/10

which is 40 - 15x = 18

This should be as far as you need to go, but incase you need to go further,

subtract 40 to both sides

multiply both sides by -1 to get rid of the negatives infront of the x

then divide both sides by 15 to get

x=22/15
