The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 3 (+ 5). The perimeter of a rectangle is 2 (2x - 3) + 2(2). If the perimeters of the two figures are equal, then what is the value of r?​

Perimeter of triangle = 3(5) = 15 cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(2x - 3 + 4)

Perimeter = 2(2x + 1)

Perimeter = 4x + 2

4x + 2 = 15

x = 3.25
