to find
a_(5) we use formula
a_(n)=a_(1) * r^(n-1)

. After substituting these values to above formula, we obtain:


a_(n)=a_(1) * r^(n-1)\\a_(5) = -4* (-2)^(5-1)\\ a_(5) =-4 * 16\\a_(5) =-64
