MATHEMATICS // ANSWER

1.) x = 67 y = 32

Here's the Solution:

for x:

(x-15)° and 52° are vertical Angles so they are congurent.

  • (x-15)° = 52°
  • x - 15 = 52
  • x = 52 + 15
  • x = 67

for y:

4y° and 128° are vertical Angles so they are congurent.

  • 4y° = 128°
  • 4y = 128
  • 4y/4 = 128/4
  • y = 32

HOPE THIS HELPS. GOODLUCK:)

These are vertical angles so the opposite angle would equal each other.
Let’s start by solving for x:
52=x-15
Add 15 to both sides:
x=67 degrees
Now let’s solve for y:
4y=128
Divide 4 to both sides:
y=32 degrees
