How is a theme developed in the book Graveyard? 7-9 sentences.

As children grow older and more independent, the novel argues, they gradually become more attached to their communities. Due to Bod's natural curiosity about his surroundings from the moment he starts to speak, Silas begins teaching Bod how to read the names on gravestones in the local cemetery.
