Explanation:

Equation of given line:

3x+2y=2

2y=-3x+2

y=-3/2 x +2

slope =m1=-3/2

As lines are perpendicular:

m1×m2=-1

-3/2×m2=-1

required slope=m2=2/3

By using point slope form:

y-6=2/3(x-8)

3y-18=2x-16

3y=2x-16+18

3y=2x+2

y=2/3 x+2

m=2/3 ,b=2
