  • Sold price=60
  • Discount=25℅

Now

  • Cost price be x.

\\ \rm\longmapsto 100-25=75\%

  • 75% of x=60

\\ \rm\longmapsto (75)/(100)x=60

\\ \rm\longmapsto x=60* (100)/(75)

\\ \rm\longmapsto x=80

Answer:

$80

Explanation:

the original price (in percent) = 100%

the discount (25% off) = - 25%

_________________

the sale price (in percent) = 75% =>

equal to $60

so, the original price =

100/75 × $60 = $80
