The sum of the present ages of a son and his father is 60 years. Six years ago, father's

age was five times the age of the son. After 6 years, what will be son's age?​

Explanation:

The equation for their present ages is s+f=60. Six years ago would make it 54 and since the father's age six years ago was 5 times his son's the equation would be s+5s=54 (add the common terms) 6s=54. 54/6 is 9. So the son's age is 9, currently. In six years, the kid will be 15.
