Compare to y=mx+b

  • Slope=m=2
  • Parallel lines have equal slope

Equation in point slope form


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y-1=2(x+3)


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y-1=2x+6


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y=2x+7
