Answer:

y = 7x - 50

Explanation:

the standard form for a line equation is

y = ax + b

a is the slope.

b is the intercept with the y-axis (x=0).

we know, a = 7

so,

y = 7x + b

to get b we use the point (x = 7, y = -1)

-1 = 7×7 + b = 49 + b

b = -50

=>

y = 7x - 50

y- y1= a(x-x1)
y - (-1) = 7(x-7)
y+1 =7x -49
y = 7x -49-1
y = 7x -50
