y= 0 m
y = 10 m
v0 = 0 m/s
a = g = -9.8 m/s²
y= y0 + v0t + 1/2 * at²
0 = y = 10 + 0 + 1/2 * -9.8t²
-10 = -4.9t²
t² = 2.0408
t = 1.429 s
v = v0 + at
v = 0 – 9.8 * 1.429
v = – 14 m/s
