1. "Sam" was in a hurry to get to work. He decided to pass a slow moving

vehicle. Negligently unaware of the yellow line in the road, Sam passed
the vehicle and crashed head-on into an oncoming bus. The bus driver
died. Sam had no intent to injure the driver of the bus, so therefore, did
he commit a crime?

Its involuntary manslaughter. Although he didnt mean to cause a death he still didnt follow traffic laws and crossed of the yellow line, on top of that he obviously wasnt paying attention because a bus is hard to miss. So also it is an unfortunate thing that happened he still caused a death due to his negligence therefore leading him to involuntary manslaughter.
