Explanation: Bonds that form as a result of sharing their electrons are called covalent bonds. A lot of energy is contained in those bonds, especially if they are higher order. A single bons is bond order 1, A triple bond is bond order 3. An example of a triple bond is acetylene. It combusts with a very hot flame when it's triple bond is broken with oxygen.
