Answer:

Slope intercept form;

y = mx + b

Where y is the dependent variable, and x is the independent variable.

And m is the slope whilst b is the y - intercept (where the line meets the y axis)

The equation is:-

y = 4x + 2

In this case, 4/1 is the slope and 2 is the y - intercept.

So if you were to graph this equation, you would first plot a point on positive 2, because that is the y - intercept.

Then from point 2, you would rise 4 and go over 1. You would keep repeating this.
