y= 1 +3x

4x + y =8 —> 4x + ( 1 + 3x ) = 8

7x + 1 = 8 —> 7x = 8 – 1 —> 7x = 7

x = 7/7 —> x = 1

y= 1 + 3x —> y = 1 + 3 (1) —> y = 1+ 3

y= 4

(x , y ) —> ( 1 , 4 )
