Answer: in this picture we know that c + d= 90 degrees. a circle has 360 degrees in total.

Explanation:

so firstly we need to do 159+90=249

then we do 360-249=111

we know that 3x =111 degrees

so we then do 111÷3=37

after we find out the angle of d

which can be found by doing

180-111=69 as a straight line has 180 degrees

and we can then use this piece of information to work out c

we just have to do 90-69=21 degrees
