What happens to the value of g when we move from equator to the pole.the weight of an object is greater at poles than at equator .

We know that the size of the Earth is not a perfect sphere, it’s flattened near the poles and bulged near the equator. Since, the equator is bulged, the radius is greater. Since the radius is greater the gravity is lesser than compared to poles.
