Ratio remains same

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail (12)/(3)=(20)/(n)

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail 4=20/n

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail n=20/4

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail n=5

Answer:

The rule is y = x - 9

n = 11

Explanation:

To find patterns, we just have to look at the table and see if there are any repeating rules.

Well, the y values go from 1 to 3 to 6

3 - 1 = 2

6 - 3 = 3

Nothing similar there.

But, we can see that 10 - 1 = 9

12 - 3 = 9

When you subtract 9 from each x value, you get the y value

So, y = x - 9

n = 20 - 9

20 - 9 = 11
