Find the mean, median, and mode of 14, 15, 3, 15, 14, 14, 18, 15, 8, 16.

Answer:

mean = 13.2, median = 15.5, mode = 18

Explanation:

mean = 14+15+3+15+14+14+18+15+8+16/10

= 132/10 = 13.2

median =[ (n/2)th term + (n/2+1)term ]/2

here n is even so this formula is applied and before this is done, the numbers given are to be arranged in ascending or descending order

= [10/2 + (10/2+1)]/2

= [5th term + 6th term]/2

= (15+16)/2

= 31/2 = 15.5

mode = 18
