2/3 = (x+7) /3x

Cross multiply:

2(3x) = 3(x+7)

Simplify:

6x = 3x + 21

Subtract 3x from both sides:

3x = 21

Divide both sides by 3:

X = 7

Answer: x = 7

Answer:

x = 7

Explanation:

I reversed it for easy viewing:

(x+7)/3x = 2/3

<=> (x + 7).3 = 2.(3x)

<=> 3x + 21 = 6x

<=> 21 = 6x - 3x

<=> 3x = 21

<=> x = 7
