Since the entire function f(x) involves terms being multiplied, each individual term can be set equal to zero in order to find the functions zeros. Hopefully that makes sense. If the function involved the addition or subtraction of terms, one term equaling zero doesn't necessarily require the second term to equal zero. If this doesn't make sense, that's okay. Either way, all you have to do is set each term equal to zero to find the zeros of f(x).

First:


x-3=0


x=3

Second:


x+7=0


x=-7

Third:


x-11=0


x=11
