So, y-intercept = 5

y = mx + 5

Now, choose any other point in red line. ((1,7)

Substitute this value in the above equation and we can find m

7 = m*1 + 5

7 - 5 = m

m = 2

y = 2x + 5

Equation of black line:

Black line and red line are parallel and so, they have same slope.

y = 2x + b

y-intercept (0,-6) ; b = -6

y = 2x - 6
