Answer:
x = [7]
Explanation:
5x + 3 - 2x = 24
Combine like terms
5x - 2x + 3 = 24
Subtract 5x - 2x
3x + 3 = 24
Subtract 3 from both sides
3x = 21
Isolate the variable
x = 21/3
x = 7
