How to figure out causative verb???

Answer:

usually causative verb are following by an object and then the base from of a verb than explains what the object did, but there are times when the word 'to' precedes the base from of the verb or when the past participle from of the verb is used.

Causative verbs are action words that cause another thing to happen. The verbs let, help, have, make and get are causative verbs.

LET = Allow something to happen

Structure: LET + PERSON/THING + base form of the VERB

For example:

I don’t (let) my toddler (play) at the dining table.

She doesn’t (let) us (go) on a trip alone.
