x + a = (3)/(4) \\ x = (3)/(4) - a

for a:

\\ \sf \longmapsto x+a=(3)/(4)

\\ \sf \longmapsto x=(3)/(4)-a

\\ \sf \longmapsto x=(3-4a)/(4)

And

\\ \sf \longmapsto a=(3)/(4)-x

\\ \sf \longmapsto a=(3-4x)/(4)
