Explanation:

Triangle says the sum of any 2 sides is bigger than the third.

Assume a,b,c are side measurements of a triangle.

So if you know two sides a and b then the third number, c, is such that |b-a|<c<a+b.

So just add the given numbers and find the positive difference.

5.6+4=9.6

5.6-4=1.6
