First, find the square root of -3 over or divided by 2.

0.86 i

i represents a negative square value. It is not very common to see.

Now, add 2.


0.86i+2=2.86i

The other equation is subtracting, so it's not the same answer again.

Just do the same thing, but now subtract 2.


0.86i - 2 = -2.86

Multiply 2.8i by -2.86i


2.86i * -2.86 = - 8.1796 i

Your answer should be...

- 8.1796i or - 8.1796.
