Answer:

a) 10

b) 2.5

Explanation:

2^n = 1024

2^n = 2^10

n = 10

4^(2n-3) = 16

4^(2n-3) = 4^2

2n-3 = 2

2n = 5

n = 2.5

Solution:-1:-

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2^n=1024

  • Equal the bases

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2^n=2^10

\\ \sf\longmapsto n=10

Solution:-2:-

\\ \sf\longmapsto 4^(2n-3)=16

\\ \sf\longmapsto 4^(2n-3)=4^2

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2n-3=2

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2n=2+3

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2n=5

\\ \sf\longmapsto n=(5)/(2)

\\ \sf\longmapsto n=2.5
