10 pipes can fill a tank in 16 minutes,in how many minutes would 8 pipes fill the same tank ,proportion question​

Explanation:

The volume of the tank is V, p is number of pipes, t the time, k as constant.

V=k*p*t

V=k*10*16 ==> k=V/160

V=k*8*t

V=V/160*8*t ==>1=8/160*t ==> t=160/8=20

Time to use: 20 min.
